The Golden State Warriors defeated the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night to win the series 4-1. The Warriors closed out a Spurs team in front on their fans at the Oracle arena and now will the prepare for Pelicans team coming off a sweep of the Portland Trail Blazers.
They were led by Finals MVP Kevin Durant's 25 points on 8-19 shooting. Klay Thompson also did his thing with 24 points on 50% shooting (11-22). Draymond Green unquestionably their emotional leader contributed 17 points, 7 assist to go along with a monster rebounding game with 19.

The Spurs without their coach and leader Greg Popovich who did not coach in games 4 & 5 due to the death of his wife found a way to win a game and avoid being swept. Played hard despite being undermanned almost all season. Their superstar Kawhi Leonard appeared in only 9 games (quad) in the regular season and did not play in the postseason.
The Spurs who have been led by their All-Star LaMarcus Aldridge this season finished his season strong with 30 points and 12 rebounds. Patty Mills chipped in with 18 points and 5 rebounds. Hall of Famer and one of the best sixth man to ever play the game Manu Ginobli contributed 10 points and 7 assist in 25 min. The 36 year old will be ask all summer if this was his last game as a Spur. If it is his final game he is one of the best international players to ever step foot on the NBA surface.
