LOS ANGELES, CA - It’s finally that time of the year. No, it is not Christmas. It is October, but for the hundreds of thousands of fans that reside in the city of Los Angeles it might feel like it is.

This month has become the favorite time for different fan bases around the city for one reason only: all sports are in season at the same time.

Miguel Vargas, who is a big time soccer, hockey, football and basketball fan believes that October is the best time to watch sports in LA.

“Right now, the Lakers and the Clippers just started their preseason, LA Galaxy and LAFC qualified for the MLS playoffs, and the Dodgers are in the postseason as well,” Vargas told Fantasy Sports Cave. “The Rams and Chargers are five weeks into the season, and the LA Kings just started their season.”

Last Thursday and this past Saturday Clippers and Lakers, respectively, played their first preseason game.  LA Galaxy and LAFC just finished the regular season and will start playoffs next week.

The Dodgers for the seventh straight year are playing in the postseason, meanwhile the Rams and Chargers have already played five games in the NFL season. As for the LA Kings, they just played their first game of the new NHL season this past Saturday.

You can drive down Figueroa Street to Staples Center and see a basketball game of your choice between the Lakers and the Clippers, or even see a hockey game when the Kings have match.

Also, you can drive further down south to the Banc of California Stadium and LA Memorial Coliseum to see the Los Angeles Football Club or Rams play. Depending on what kind of football you like, of course.

Now, if you love driving in the LA traffic, you can go down to Avalon Boulevard in Carson to watch the LA Galaxy or Chargers at Dignity Health Sports Park. Again, it all depends on what football you’re into, or maybe you like both.

But if you want to experience October baseball than you head over the Dodger Stadium to watch the Dodgers and perhaps enjoy a Dodger Dog.

Los Angeles is well known for being a big time sports town, but during October, the atmosphere feels energetic around the city. Fans walk around town with different jerseys, some wear Lakers jerseys, others have their Dodgers shirt on, meanwhile there are fans with other LA teams jerseys.

It may not be Christmas, but the month of October it sure is the best gift for all the sports fans in Los Angeles, who get to enjoy and watch five major league sports at the same time.
