Sparks defeat Lynx 77-68!

The Los Angeles Sparks defeated the Minnesota Lynx 77-68 for their 15th straight home win at Staples Center.

The Sparks had locked up the third seed in the playoffs heading into this game while the Lynx  were still playing for playoff seeding. The Sparks will be hosting the second round single elimination game on Sunday, September 15. The opponent is yet to be determined.

After the loss the Lynx found out that they would head to Seattle to play against the Storm in a single-elimination playoff game.

Four of the five starters scored in double figures for the Sparks with Riquna Williams leading the way with 15 points.

Napheesa Collier led the way for the Lynx with16 points. 

The final regular season game was recognized as fan appreciation day. The unofficial attendance was 13,000. 

After the Sparks started the season with a depleted roster, they managed to bounce back and now are heading into the playoffs as one of the favorites.
