El Paso TX. – Locomotive FC came off a much needed and arguably one of their best wins of the season against Las Vegas lights FC in a (3-0) showdown away from home. With 4 points up so far in their last two games, every match from now till the end of the season will be very important and crucial to place themselves in a playoff spot for the Western Conference. Tonight, will be no different for them and having a more secure and healthy squad which clearly shows a difference for any team for that matter it will be a huge factor to come out with the three points tonight.

Let’s break down what to expect for tonight’s match.

Locomotive FC has two wins, one draw and two losses (2-1-2), in their last five games and has struggled to maintain a winning streak ever since the injury trend/curse, became evident and caused a huge streak of games without a win for thre team. With that finally worn down and the team looking better and in full effect they are showing that they can change things around like they did the past two match ups. Tonight, we will see a great line up with what we could consider to be the perfect starting XI to get the three points for the rest of the season.

We are curious to see how the lineup will be but seeing how efficient it was against Las Vegas lights it should be good to see it once again and get a clear advantage early on in the match. Specially with the control of the wing by Salgado, and the dominance of Nick Ross, Velasquez and Contreras in the mid field to create opportunities for Aaron Gomez and Jerome Kiesewetter, that will be a huge push to get in the net.

The Californian team is looking to get increase their winning streak to five tonight, they welcome Locomotive FC to their home turf and expect to keep this streak going strong and secure their spot in playoff contention. They currently sit in seventh place in the Western Conference with 39 points, they’re only three points ahead of locomotive and that can be troubling to the team if they lose tonight to the Texas team.

As Locomotive FC currently sits in eleventh place with 36 points to their name so far getting a playoff spot isn’t so far away as this conference is known to be very crunched in and doesn’t separate themselves so much where two or three games can change the table completely. In this case unless you’re phoenix Rising who basically cannot be dethroned from the first place spot unless they lose every single match they have left and Fresno FC decides to go on a winning streak for what’s left that would be the only way, besides that the rest of the spots in the table are up for grabs. So, it will be very important for Locomotive to give it their all and win.
