Last night, 37,040 fans of the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team gathered at the Rose Bowl to watch them defeat Ireland 3-0 in the first game of the Victory Tour.

Among the attendees were former 91, 99 champions, and 2015, also former Lakers basketball player Kobe Bryant. We know that he is a great fan of Barcelona football, Messi, and in this case, also of women athletes.

During the first half, the USWNT sentenced the match with three goals from Tobin Heath, Lindsey Horan and Carli Lloyd. Mallory Pugh was part of the initial eleven but before the match began. Heath had to replace her because she also suffered an injury, as well as Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe, who didn’t have any minutes. Heath scored the first goal in the 16th minute of the stopwatch. Samantha Mewis left the ball in short to Christen Press who sent her above so that with a fulminating header, Heath put the 1-0 at home.

The champions dominated the entire match from start to finish. Ireland had no shots on goal during the entire game. At 31 minutes the second of the night arrived. Mewis who was alone and with some space sent a great pass to Lindsey Horan who didn’t waste the opportunity to put the 2-0 lead with her right leg.

The last of the night was scored by the Captain Lloyd. Kelley O'Hara sent her a great cross from the top right and with a header she scored the last goal of the night. With this goal she sums 114 career goals. The players will return to their respective clubs with the NWSL, and will return to the national team when they play in Philadelphia and Minneapolis.
