Bees Sting With Late Homers for 6-3 Win

The Salt Lake Bees hit back-to-back home runs in the top of the ninth inning Thursday evening to surge past El Paso 6-3. The two team split their four-game series and the Chihuahuas concluded their final homestand of the season with a 6-5 record.

Travis Jankowski went 4-for-4 with a walk in Thursday’s loss. El Paso manager Edwin Rodriguez was ejected, his second ejection of the season. The Chihuahuas finished their home regular-season games with a 36-34 record.
