Chihuahuas Lose 5-4 Saturday

The El Paso Chihuahuas scored the final three runs Saturday in Salt Lake City but fell 5-4 to the Bees. El Paso has dropped two in a row since their six-game winning streak.

Chihuahuas catcher Austin Allen provided half of the run-haul with a two-run homer in the sixth inning. Salt Lake hit three home runs in the game and now have nine in the last two days.

El Paso reliever gave a strong showing, Trevor Megill, Eric Yardley and Gerardo Reyes each pitched scorelss, hitless innings. Salt Lake starter Nick Tropeano was ejected in the sixth inning, though he would still earn the win.
