Dietrich Enns was dealing through six innings, striking out seven in the El Paso Chihuahuas 3-2 win over the San Antonio Missions Sunday. It was Enns’ 11th win of the season, tying him with two others for the Pacific Coast League lead.
The Chihuahuas’ three runs came on consecutive singles with two outs in the third, a two-run single by Aderlin Rodriguez then an RBI single for Esteban Quiroz. Former MLB All-Star pitcher Shelby Miller was relieved after allowed three runs through 4.1 innings.
El Paso’s manager Edwin Rodriguez earned some stripes with his first ejection of the season in the fourth inning. The Chihuahuas have won three games in a row. With a Las Vegas loss in Omaha Sunday night, they have tied for the division lead with 21 games to play.

Reliever Andres Munoz who spent a brief period with the Chihuahuas in May and June earned his first MLB win Sunday and has posted a 2.31 ERA with 15 k’s in 11.2 innings.
