The Los Angeles Sparks lose 84-62 to the Seattle Storm.
Jewell Loyd led the Storm with 23 points and made a career-high five 3-pointers. Natasha Howard added 20 points and nine rebounds for the Seattle defending champions.
With this win, the Storm are 6-4 for the season, while the Sparks are 4-5 after the loss.
The Sparks were down 22-17 in the first quarter and they played catch up all night. Their shooting woes continued from the last game and shot only 37.7% from the field. They went 6-21 from three-point range, shooting a dismal 28.6%.
The Storm were on fire from three-point range making 14 three-pointers and shooting at 53.4%.
Nneka Ogwumike led the Sparks with 10 points. Only one player for the Sparks was able to score in double figures.
Candace Parker continued to struggle after coming back from injury. She made 1-9 shots and only had 2 points for the game.
The Sparks will travel to Phoenix to face off the Mercury tomorrow.
