Even though I am a Patriots fan I am excited to see what this game has in store for us! Let’s break it down.
Eagles vs Falcons
Thursday night starts up high in the sky as two of the most majestic and intimidating mascots will face each other in an epic high-flying commencement to the regular season. The former Super Bowl Champs, Nick Foles and the Eagles look to continue their dominating trend and start off the season with a win against Matt Ryan and the falcons who have everything to prove after losing to the Eagles in the NFC divisional playoff 10-15. Vengeance is in the Air and it will be Amazing. Fan or not of these two teams it will be a game worthy of watching.
Philadelphia will start off the second string QB Nick Foles even though he is a tough man to read. We don’t know which Foles we will get this season, The QB that will put the team on his back and show true leadership and get the win or will it be the QB that makes mistake over mistake and cause the demise on game one for the team. Clearly Eagles fans want to see the team that won the super bowl against the patriots.
In the Eagles injury update, Alston Jeffery, Mack Hollins will sit out this Thursday and will not play which will open the receiver spots for these 5 players:
Overall on the plus side after being questionable, Jay Ajayi fully participated on practice today, so it will be a big help to the Eagles and clearly a key to victory this Thursday.
The falcons look to have a lot under control and have their key player in hopes of having a great start. That’s right Julio Jones who has answered to numerous interviews that he feels better than ever and is ready. No major injuries in their report for Thursday besides long snapper Josh Harris was limited to practice on Monday being replaced by Jeff Overbaugh. So, it’s questionable whether he will play or not Thursday. Other than that, pretty much all players had full participation in practice which will be a big plus for Atlanta coming into Thursday night.
