In a very surprising manner the Los Angeles Galaxy beat the Seattle Sounders 3-0 this is the first time the Galaxy have shutout an opponent since July 7th against Columbus in which they won that game 4-0. From the start of the game you could see the energy of all the Galaxy players, they were more hungry, focus and were the aggressive team for majority of the game controlling the pace and dominating every counterattack.

The first goal came in the 9th minute when they called a penalty against the Sounders when Ola Kamara drew a penalty from Brad Smith. Zlatan Ibrahimovic stepped up and put it pass Sounders goal keeper. In this must win game this was the perfect start to the game and LA Galaxy never looked back and they added two more goals in the 40th minute by Ola Kamara and in the 52nd minute when Emmanuel Boateng tapped it in.

LA Galaxy under interim manager Dom Kinnear, put in an assured performance to take a key three points. Next week they face Vancouver at home who is currently in 8th place and trail right behind the Galaxy. If they play like they did today their hopes of making the playoffs look promising. Zlatan and the team have two games left at home and two on the road they are in control of their own destiny.
