On Saturday night LAFC faced a tough opponent the New England Revolution and tied Revolution 1-1 on Saturday night at Banc of California Stadium, the Los Angeles club has not loss in the last five games (3-0-2) but have had two games end in a tie.

One of the highlights of the game was when LAFC forward Marco Ureña scored his first regular season goal in the 52nd minute. This lifted team to start the second half and got the monkey off Ureña’s back to finally able to contribute on the stat sheet. Unfortunately LAFC has struggled late in games to finish off an opponents and in the 82nd minute defender Brandon Bye leveled things up for New England.

In the press conference after the game Carlos Vela says “We have to show more personality” when asked what they have to do in order to win the close games. It is definitely tough for the Black and Gold to play a solid game up until the final 10 minutes and give a goal to the New England in order for them to tie things up and only walk away with one point. LAFC remains in third place in the Western Conference with a 13-7-8 (47 points) record.

LAFC continues their homestand next Saturday, September 22 taking on the San Jose Earthquakes at 12:30 p.m. PT (Univision, ESPNLA 710 AM, 980 AM) at Banc of California Stadium.
