The NFL Preseason was under yesterday and we got a taste from some of the best players to come out the draft and see what they could do. Starting Cleveland Browns Quarterback and the No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield. He didn’t do much of anything on the first drive, but he was back with a vengeance in the second drive. Mayfield marched the Browns down the field for a touchdown, converting third and fourth downs along the way.
Baker Mayfield later finished up the drive with touchdown to David Njoku
The New York Giants drafted former Penn St. running back Saquon Barkley in the first round. It was no secret the Giants needed to get a RB after the lack of performance in that position last year. In his first drive Saquon Barkley looked like the Saquon Barkley that the same Penn St. college kids rooted for. He makes it look so easy. His patience at the line of scrimmage and ability to burst through the hole will definitely allow him and the Giants hope for big rushes like he had in the opening drive during the regular season.
