This may be a preview of the Eastern Conference Finals in many people’s eyes.  The young Sixers led by All-Starter( first year) from a year ago Joel Embiid and reigning Rookie of the Year Ben Simmons will look to make major strides as one of the favorites in their second year playing together. The Celtics coming off a seven game series loss against the LeBron led Cleveland Cavaliers are looking to take that next step to get to the Finals as they get back All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving. There is still no timetable for forward Gordon Haywards return after his gruesome injury opening night a year ago, but when the Celtics officially become full strength…look out.

Oklahoma City Thunder visits the Oracle and The Golden State Warriors 7:30 PT on TNT

The Warriors coming off back to back championships look to start their quest to become the first team to three-peat since the Los Angeles Lakers in 2000, 2001, & 2002. Led by two-time Finals MVP Kevin Durant and two-time league MVP Steph Curry this is the team all other 29 teams in the association will be chasing. The new look Oklahoma City Thunder led by Russell Westbrook & new money Paul George (four year/ $137M) will get their first chance to showcase whom many believe will be a much more productive team with the departure of Carmelo Anthony (Traded to ATL).

The NBA season is now moving quickly upon us and the question remains can any dethrone the Golden State Warriors?
