Los Angeles - Late in March 2018, these two teams had an epic match in Carson, California. The Galaxy pulled the upset of upsets when the two teams met earlier in the season. They were down by three goals at the start of the second half, but managed to mount a furious comeback lead by Zlatlan (3-4).

Coming into the anticipated match up, LAFC (10-5-5) saw their undefeated streak shatter to pieces on Sunday in Minnesota. They managed to pull even at the 26th minute, but were down by two goals at halftime. They conceded two more in the second half, and met their second biggest defeat since joining the MLS. Despite the loss, LAFC remained at the 2nd spot with their 35 points, two points ahead of Sporting Kansas City. They have been spectacular at home so far in the season (5-0-4) and they have only given up 6 goals all season at home. Adding to this impressive start at Banc of California stadium, they have also recorded three more wins at home, for the US Open Cup.

Then we have the cross town rival, LA Galaxy coming in with a record(9-7-4) and returning back to Los Angeles after a great job on the road against Philadelphia on Saturday. They were down by 0-1 by the end of the first half, but scored three goals in the second to eventually win by 3-1. That was their third consecutive win, as they are now undefeated in their last five (3-0-2). However,  they have conceded 8 goals in that span. They have now climbed to the 4th spot of the Western Conference, where they are sitting with 31 points. The Galaxy have the 2nd best away record in the Conference (4-3-3), and have lost just one of their last six (3-1-2).

This looks to be an exciting game as both teams have offensive punch.  Yes, that is the given, we can also say that they both have shaky defenses and we can be looking at a shoot out here in los Angeles.  Carlos Vela was just voted as the MLS All Star game team Captain will try to lead LAFC versus Zlatlan and the Galaxy in the 2nd match up of EL trafico at Banc of California Stadium.
