The Warriors Curry led the team with 28 points on 10-16 shooting and also had 8 assist and 7 rebounds. Since he came back after missing the first round against the San Antonio Spurs (which they beat 4-1) and Game one in this series he has brought the MVP mentality and scoring. Durant showed up and did what he has done all year scoring 24 points (10-18 fg) and had 7 assist and 6 rebounds. Sharpshooter Klay Thompson added 23 points and their emotional leader Draymond Green almost had a triple-double with 19 points, 14 rebounds, and 9 assist.
They did not shoot the ball as well as they usually do from the three making only 7 out of the 27 they attempted but showed their championship pedigree and still found other ways to win. They outrebounded the Pelicans 53-44 and were a plus 10 in the assist category.

The Pelicans finished their season strong despite losing one of their key players due to injury in All-Star DeMarcus Cousin. They still had a star in Anthony Davis who played in all but two minutes in this one scored a game-high 34 points and had 19 rebounds. Jrue Holiday finished his 2018 postseason with a triple-double with 27 points (11-21), 11 assist, and 10 rebounds. They just ran into a more talented team.
The Golden State Warriors will now meet the Houston Rockets in the Western Conference Finals. This is a match up most NBA fans have been clamoring for and now they’ll get it. This may very well be the NBA Finals…so let the games begin.
