The Philadelphia 76ers will look to win Game 2 and tie the series against the Boston Celtics on Thursday night. The Celtics won Game 1 117-101 and from the start of the game to the end looked like the better team. They were a team coming off a seven game series against the Milwaukee Bucks played like them team that was feeding off their home crowd.
The combination of Terry Rozier, Al Horford, & rookie Jayson Tatum led the way all scoring 20 plus. They are a team coached by Brad Stevens that a lot people have written off since losing their best player in Kyrie Irving and their coveted free agent this past summer in Gordon Hayward. They now will have a chance to go up 2-0 and put themselves two wins from the Eastern Conference finals.

Philly is a team a lot of people believe will be representing the Eastern Conference in the Finals led by their two young star Joel Embiid who had 31 points, and 13 rebounds. He said after the Game 1 loss that said “That’s not who we are” and they believe they lost it more than the Celtics won it.
The Sixers were the rested team, the favorites in this series and were not able to put a full game together. Ben Simmons had 18 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assist but had 7 turnovers. He has so much pressure to get those shooters involved and they didn’t shoot it well making only 5 out of the 26 they attempted.
Game 2 should be a good game and the paced should be picked up as both teams are coming off two days rest.
