The 2018 NFL Draft was full of many surprises this year with the first pick of the 2018 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns selected Heisman Trophy winner Baker Mayfield from the University of Oklahoma. We will recap the top 5 picks that was held this year in Arlington, TX at AT&T Stadium home of the Dallas Cowboys.

1. Baker Mayfield - Picked by: Cleveland Browns - QB College: University of Oklahoma
The Cleveland Browns once again decide to select a Quarterback in the first round, many believe it was going to be Sam Darnold from USC but the Browns went with Baker Mayfield from Oklahoma. Mayfield who led his team all the way up to the Rose Bowl where they lost to Georgia in a thrilling game 54-48. Even though Mayfield and his team fell short he was still sought out to be one of the best Quarterbacks available for the 2018 draft and no better way than to go number one overall. The question is can Baker Mayfield be the QB that so many Browns fans in the past have waited for more than two decades? And take them from a losing team to a winning team than can take them to next level. We will surely have to see.
2. Saquon Barkley - Picked by: New York Giants - RB - College: Penn State
Saquon Barkley without a doubt was by the best running back on the board and too many probably the best overall pick goes the New York Giants who rushed for an averaged of 96.8 yards per game and ranked 26th overall. It is no surprise that the Giants wen with Barkley with the number two overall pick. As a freshman, At the Penn State Barkley quickly took over the starting job and rushed to a 1,000-yard season. The following year, he became the centerpiece of the teams running attack and amassed nearly 1,900 yards of total offense and 20 touchdowns. Barkley's punctuation mark was an all-time great 79-yard touchdown run in the Rose Bowl, widely regarded as one of the best plays in the game's 104-year history.

3. Sam Darnold - Picked by: New York Jets - QB - College: USC
Sam Darnold going third overall is heading to the New York Jets, they traded up three spots last month, chose Darnold over UCLA's Josh Rosen and Wyoming's Josh Allen. Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield went to the Cleveland Browns with the No. 1 pick. Darnold going to the Jets was a surprise. The Jets have been a team that in past years have struggled at the QB position. Last year the Jets averaged 198.9 passing yards per game which ranked 24th overall and they were by Josh McCown who has made a name for himself for being a back up quarterback or playing for almost every team in the NFL. It will be interesting to see if Darnold will be the starting quarteback this year for the Jets or will they slowly bring him in.

4. Denzel Ward - Picked by: Cleveland Browns - CB - College: Ohio State
With their second pick in the first number four overall the Cleveland Browns select Denzel Ward a locked down corner back from Ohio State. The 5-foot-11, 187-pound Ward isn't oversized, but offers next-level quickness and drew comparisons from Jeremiah as a young Adam "Pac-man" Jones. The Browns defense allowed the NFL's highest completion percentage and passer rating in 2017.

5. Bradley Chubb - Picked by: Denver Broncos - DE - College: NC State
Bradley Chubb a strong 269 pound defensive end with a 4.65 forty time who can work as a stand-up outside linebacker, is a very exciting pick for Broncos nation who last year didn't have as an effective. Chubb, the 2017 ACC defensive player of the year, is the first N.C. State player taken in the first round since a trio went in 2006. Defensive end Mario Williams was the No. 1 pick in that draft. Chubb wore Williams’ No. 9 jersey at N.C. State the past two seasons and broke Williams’ school records for sacks (26) and tackles for loss (60).
