Last night, the MLB was high scoring and you needed to have 200+ points to be successful. We had a lot of Runs scored which I predicted. Let's get into the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. The Good, the Padres stack, with 60 points between Myers and Hosmer, and Nolan Arenado with 25 points. Carlos Carrasco with 50 points outscored Garrett Cole last night like I said he would. Chris Stratton put up 36 points last night proving he is better than his price indicates. Not bad, but could have been better, the A's Stack of Chapman and Davis providing 37 points and our Dark Horse, Chad Pinder providing 9 points. The Ugly not playing the Yankees last night, I opted to play more of the Rockies vs. Padres and forgot about playing Giancarlo Stanton who had 40 points. Congrats to Gleyber Torres on his first hit in the MLB but I'm looking forward to your first home run.

Gold Standard

Kenta Maeda (9.1k) Tonight with pitchers like Charlie Morton and Robbie Ray, I like Kenta Maeda out of the bunch. Only because they are playing the Marlins who only have two good hitters in their lineup (Justin Boar and Sterling Castro). He doesn't have a high strikeout rate but he has to rack up some tonight against the Marlins who are not great offensively in the MLB. Look for Maeda to dominate tonight.

Rick Porcello (8.8k) I think paying 8k for Rick Porcello is a deal you should potentially wrap your head around any given night. He deserves to be 9k and He has started the season on fire in terms of points, however, tonight I think you should avoid him. Why? he is playing an inspired Toronto team. Teams that have an emotional boost tend to play better. I think tonight Toronto hitters will get to him and Toronto will win for their city. My thoughts and prayers to them in a devastating time and I'm sending my love to the city of Toronto.

Lots of cheap options tonight but one stands out and that's Vince Velasquez (7.5k), I think the Diamondbacks aren't the best hitting team right now besides their top three players. A Dbacks team riddled with injuries, this could be a game where he takes over and increases his strikeout total. Plus, If you want to stack Padres vs the Rockies who have such high prices now, you might consider him.

The Lumber Swingers

Sneaky Stack

Corey Seager (3.5k) and Kike Hernadez (2.6k) I like the Dodgers left-handed bats against a bad pitcher. They both are cheap enough to afford and add to the prices of the Boujee Rockies (aka Arenado/Blackmon) or balance with mid-range priced Padres (Myers/Hosmer) last night. Both are left-handed and this pitcher gives up runs to left-handers in bunches. Playing dodgers left-handed batters tonight is a smart call. Look for them to put up a high run total.

Dark Horse

Brandon Crawford (2.2k) He homered last night which makes me think that the slump is over. Last night makes me very intrigued into playing him tonight. He won't be highly played with all the great shortstops tonight. He has a low price with a high upside. I'm all over it. He is a better hitter than his price indicates.

Jonathan Schoop (2.0k) I'll give you two today, if Johnthan Schoop plays tonight at 2nd base coming off the DL. He will be the best value play tonight. He is eligible to come off the DL today, and check the Baltimore lineup if he plays. It's worth a look. He is someone to keep on the radar for tonight because 2k for a quality bat is tough to come by.

Justin Smoak (3.9k) tonight will smoke one tonight over the outfield wall. MAYBE, a ball that hit the hotel in center field. I think if you are looking for some range 2k guys tonight look at Toronto, they will be low owned and hungry for a victory for their city. I'm Toronto strong tonight and you should be too.
