Los Angeles Football Club's new home Banc of California Stadium opened its door on Wednesday, April 18th and we had first glimpse of their new stadium. MLS commissioner Don Garber attended the star-studded event along with LAFC owners Magic Johnson, Nomar Garciaparra, Mia Hamm-Garciaparra, Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti and LAFC coach Bob Bradley.

Former NBA star and LAFC Co-Owner Magic Johnson during the ceremony said "I'm happy to be a part of this incredible ownership group, and just like we were able to turn the Lakers around into a championship team, we're going to do the same thing with this great soccer team. We will be champions one day."
We also had the opportunity to interview Head Coach Bob Bradley and Diego Rossi. Bradley and the team practiced for the first time at their new home immediately following the ceremony.
Diego Rossi LAFC forward shared his thoughts about being part of this historic day and what it meant for him and the team.
LAFC's first home match will be played on April 29 against the Seattle Sounders. The team began the 2018 season with six-consecutive road matches, the cities newest team and its fans are excited to be apart of the historic day.
