The Toronto Raptors who have yet to clinch the number one seed in the Eastern Conference travel again for the second time this year to the Quicken Loans arena to face Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. This will be the final meeting between the two teams this season. This is a game that is significant for both teams as both gear towards their playoff run.
The Raptors will be mentally focused as the Quicken Loans arena is a place they haven’t been very successful. They have lost 10 of their previous 11 in Cleveland. The Raptors squandered away a 15 point halftime lead the last time these two teams faced one another. LeBron and the Cavs got contributions from others not named James or Love.
The Raptors bench outscored the Cavs bench 58-23. The Raptors played well enough to win that game and still couldn’t find a way to get it done. Demar Derozan and Kyle Lowry must find a way get this Raptors team over the hump.
The Raptors who will look to lock in the number seed are faced with reality, either find a way to mentally take on the LeBron challenge or go home enjoying another successful regular season.
