The Denver Nuggets (46-35) and Minnesota Timberwolves (46-35) will face one another with the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. The Nuggets will have to travel to Minnesota and try to beat a team many considered to threaten the defending champion Golden State Warriors because of the addition of Jimmy Butler.

The Timberwolves have had an inconsistent season. The injury to Jimmy Butler (knee) right after the All-Star break that caused him to miss about a month and a half. The Denver Nuggets who have won sixth straight will look to get to the playoffs for the first time since 2013. They are looking to lean one once again on their young core of Nikola Jokic, Gary Harris,  and Jamal Murray.

Either way some team will be facing the Houston Rockets this weekend and the other will be home watching like the rest of us. "Playoff" officially starts today in Minnesota.
