The Houston Rockets (64-16) visit the Los Angeles Lakers at as they wind up their spectacular regular season. They will look to win the season series against the Lakers. James Harden (30.6/ppg) will have two more games to make his case for Most Valuable Player. The Rockets were defeated by this Lakers team back in December, so the Rockets haven’t forgotten that.

The Rockets have locked up the number one seed out west so this game has no significance for them whatsoever. This is just going to continue to sharpen their craft for their playoff run.

The Lakers (34-46) will look to win this game and finish their final two games on a positive note heading into next season. It’s been an up and down year health wise for the Lakers as they dealt with injuries for much of the season. They will once again be without forward Brandon Ingram who hasn’t played since February, and also rookie guard Lonzo Ball who has missed 29 games so far this season.

The Lakers do have a promising future with their core being so young: Kuzma, Ball, Ingram, and Randle. They should be building for their future and giving Laker fans across the world light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully.
