The Lakers (28-34) leave AT&T with a 116-112 win over the San Antonio Spurs (36-27) on Saturday night. This is the first time the Spurs have lost four straight at home since 2001-2002. The Lakers defeated a short handed Spurs without both their stars (Kawhi Leonard, LaMarcus Aldridge) by overcoming a 17 point deficient in the third quarter.

The Lakers beat the Spurs by using a balance scoring attack with six players in double figures to get the victory. Julius Randle led the Lakers with 25 points, Isaiah Thomas had 21 points off the bench, and Lonzo Ball and K. Caldwell-Pope each added 18 points.

This one was impressive because this time around they didn't win the rebound or assist category. They were a plus 24 from three.

The Spurs currently sixth in the Western Conference who will be a playoff team this year were 2-7 in the month of February. They now start the month of March with a loss. They were led in this game by the the 37 year old Pau Gasol who scored 19 points. The Spurs are trending downward, and with Western Conference spots from three to the eight seed decided by 2.5 games this can get real ugly for them fast.
