The San Antonio Spurs (44-32) jump to the fourth seed in the Western Conference after defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder 103-99. This game had huge playoff implications coming in and changed the landscaped in the Western Conference.
The Spurs were led by All-Star LaMarcus Aldridge who was questionable coming in to the game due to a left knee contusion finished with 25 points and 11 rebounds. He played the most minutes for the Spurs with 34. The Spurs were a plus 8 from three.
The Thunder (44-32) are now currently in the fifth seed due to the loss. They were led by Paul George who scored 26 points. Russell Westbrook had a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds but also had 7 turnovers. Carmelo Anthony took a total of six field goal attempts and made half (all from three) and finished with just nine points.
These two finished the season series tied at two games apiece. Now with them both currently in the fourth and fifth seeds in the Western Conference we could have a preview of a seven game series.
