The New Orleans Pelicans (42-30) will face the Los Angeles Lakers (31-39) Anthony Davis and company are looking to come out on top extend their win streak to four games in a row. Pelicans who are currently in the fifth seed in the Western conference continue to trend upward and have shot tie the Oklahoma City Thunder with a win over the Lakers.
The Lakers will again be with out Brandon Ingram who has been sidelined since March 3rd due to a groin strain but had steadily increased his level of activity on the court. Ingram leads the Lakers with 16.2 points per game, to go along with 5.4 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 46.9 percent shooting.
Mike Trudell reported on Brandon Ingram's status for the Pelicans matchup. The Lakers went 4-2 in their first six games without Ingram, but have since gone on a three-game losing streak. During that time Josh Hart has been sidelined while recovering from hand surgery, and Kyle Kuzma missed one game due to a sprained ankle. The Lakers are looking for a win and plan on snapping the Pelicans three game winning streak.
