Raptors Look to Make Statement...

The east leading Toronto Raptors (53-18) travel to the Quicken Loan arena to take on LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers (41-29). The Raptors have won 19 of their past 21 games but they have lost nine of the previous ten when playing in Cleveland.

Demar Derozan (23.7 PPG) is playing like an MVP this year and has extended his game to the three point line.

The Cavs are 5-5 in their past 10 games and are currently third in the Eastern Conference behind the Raptors and the Celtics. They have been a team decimated with injuries. They will be without guard Rodney Hood (back), forward Tristan Thompson (ankle), and forward Cedi Osman (hip). They will also be without guard Kyle Korver due to the death of his younger brother.

This could be a game of significance for the Raptors mentally. This is a Raptors team that believes they have enough to dethrone the three time Eastern Conference Champions. They regardless of seeding the east will have to go through LeBron because they will have to find a way to be him four times out of seven.

The Cavs are just looking to get into a rhythm and psychologically beat a team they know potentially they may face come playoff time. They must get something tonight from their bench because the Raptors bench is one of the best in the league.
