Lakers Can't Keep Pace with Indiana...

The Indiana Pacers defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 110-100. The Pacers used a big third quarter to separate themselves and get the win. The Pacers outscored the Lakers 35-21 in the third and never looked back.

Pacers are currently fourth in the Eastern Conference standings and are just a half game behind the Cleveland Cavaliers for the third spot. They were led by Miles Turner who scored 21 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. First year All-Star Victor Oladipo contributed 20 points and had 3 assist.

The Lakers (31-39) who are currently 11th in the Western Conference and 8.5 games back of a Minnesota Timberwolves (40-31) have now lost three straight.They were led by rookie Kyle Kuzma 27 points and 8 rebounds. Brooke Lopez added 23 points and 8 rebounds, and Julius Randle contributed 21 points and 9 rebounds.

Lonzo Ball who only scored 4 points, had 8 assist in which six of those came in the first quarter. Neither team shot the ball well from three point range Lakers (8-33), Pacers (6-21). The Lakers are moving further and further away from the playoff picture and will have to almost play perfect basketball from here until April and get help along the way.
