El Paso Tx – The Champions’ league group stage came in with a bang and left some good talk and good insight on what’s to come in the group stages, Lets break down the major highlights of yesterdays derby.
Paris St Germain:
You wanted goals? The French club had them and clearly had no intention in holding back yesterday as they gave a superb performance defeating Crvena Zvezda 6-1. A beautiful Hat-trick from the Brazilian superstar Neymar Jr. The other three goals from the Uruguayan player Edinson Cavani, the Argentinian Angel Di Maria, and the former World Cup Champion Kylian Mbappé. The only goal that came from the opposing side was from Marco Marin which made no difference in the result coming in late at the 74th minute of the match. Even with this victory it still leaves Paris in third place of group C, so it will all fall to the wire in their next game against Napoli on October 24th.

The English team had a rough ending to their day as they fell 1-0 to the Italian Club Napoli yesterday and it was a battle to the very end since the Extremely late goal found the back of the net at the 90th minute by Lorenzo Insigne. Liverpool was stacked and had every key player but couldn’t seem to find the net and capitalize in the 4 shots they had. They were forced to play a more defensive match since Napoli kept trying to find the Goal the entire match having a total of 14 shots and 5 on goal. Also, being part of Group C Liverpool is in second place of the group just in differences of goals between them and Paris St. Germain.

The upcoming Italian team is demonstrating that they really want to win this tournament and continue their place in the list of Champions of this tournament. Being tied for first in group B with Barcelona which is also a difference of goals, they defeated PSV 2-1 from goals by Mauro Icardi, and Radja Nainggolan. Inter Milan will continue their path to stardom in this tournament and will be facing Barcelona to see what will happen in this group.
