Tuesday did not disappoint, and we had some great games. Let’s break it down prior to todays match ups!

Juventus 1-0 Manchester United:

Juventus managed to keep afloat and stay on top of the group after defeating Manchester United in the field of dreams, Old Trafford. The game some expectation and excitement only have one early goal at the 17th minute from Paulo Dybala and the rest of the game became very defensive at least from the Italian team’s side. You can tell there was effort put on from Manchester United to tie it but fell short.

Bayern Munich 2-0 AEK Athens:

Bayern Munich had a subtle win today against Athens with the two goals in the second half came from the likes of Javi Martinez in the 61st minute and Robert Lewandowski in the 63rd minute. It was surprising that they only scored two goals specially having 19 shots and 7 on them on target. They continue to be tied for first in the group stages with Ajax and it’ll be a close if it continues this way.

Here are some of the highlights to todays match.

Real Madrid 2-1 Viktoria Plzen:

After a non-convincing and struggling win Real Madrid brings up the hopes for Los Blanco’s in the champions league, but not so much in La Liga going 5 games without a win. This win put Real Madrid at the top of group G but how the team is being so inconsistent who knows how things will turn out since they are only up top because of a difference of goals.

Things need to get better in the Spanish team specially since the player who scored in yesterdays game Marcelo has put in a transfer to leave Real Madrid and sign with his former team mate Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus in January. Its not certain it will happen but it’s a big possibility.

The first two goals came from Roma’s top performer Edin Dzecko at the 30th minute and the 43rd minute. The third goal that sealed the win was in the second half of the 50th minute by Cengiz Under. It was a fast-paced match and clearly very tied in possession. 21 shots and 13 of those on goal which was a clear factor to keep them in the lead and place them in second in group G right under real Madrid.
