Week 7 Fantasy Football Predictions
START EM’- LAC QB Philip Rivers; MVP! Philip Rivers is emerging as a Dark Horse in the MVP race. Passing for 1702 yards 15 TD and only 3 INT and with a passing rating of 115.1, which is second in league, and is top 10 in most passing categories. Last week he did only pass for 207 yards due to the big lead and the sub-in of backup Geno Smith. This week the Titans been good against the pass only allowing 214 yards per game, but if the Chargers can get on board earlyPhilip can produce TD’s with not so much yards.
SIT EM’- IND QB Andrew Luck; The Colts have been struggling of late with a scary record of 1-5. Luck has produce in yardage with 1792 yards which is 8th in the league. Up against a tough Bill defense this week which only allows 219 yards and a total of 311 yards overall, Luck is gonna be challenged with the Bills also being good against the run the Colts can sneak a win but with low number from Luck.
SLEEPER- CIN QB Andy Dalton; NO D in Kansas City. The Chiefs have been 340 passing yards and 127 running yards per game. The only reason why the Chiefs are winning their offense carries them through it. The way Dalton, A.J Green and up-and-coming WR Tyler Boyd is performing the Chiefs will let anything by them. Boyd and Green combine for 9 of Dalton’s 14 TD’s.
START EM’- NYG RB Saquon Barkley; The new beast mode in my opinion. This boy can run on amy defense that gets put in front of him. The Falcons have allowed 121 yards on the ground and with the Giants passing game pretty much absent Barkley will produce for both Eli and himself. Barkley will break some fantasy records.
SIT EM’- NO RB Mark Ingram; The Saints looking like the most explosive offense in the league. But the Ravens are the top dogs in points allowed (12.8), total yards (270), 2nd in passing yards 188 yards allowed, and 3rd in rushing yards with 82. Those numbers are impressive but I think it's gonna be all air on both teams. Ingram touches look to be split with Kamara which means less production from both.
SLEEPER- DEN RB Phillip Lindsay; The Broncos have been averaging 124 rushing yards per game, which is top 10 in the league, young buck Lindsey is coming off a sluggish performance totaling only 60 yards. This is gonna be a bounce back week for the 24-year-old with a “not so good” D allowing 151 yards which is second to dead last. Lindsay is both dangerous on the ground and air, which makes him a great FLEX option.
START EM’- MIN WR Adam Thielen; BALLER ALERT! Thielen has average 100+ yards through the first 6 weeks. With an average QB at the helm Theilen been doing an amazing job. The Vikings are up against a Jets D that allowed 272 yards per game, I see Cousin surpassing those averages and Thielen leading the way.
SIT EM’- HOU WR DeAndre Hopkins; Jalen Ramsey. Hopkins Joker to his Batman, he had his name underlined, circle, bold, italicize. Ramsey and the Jags are #1 against the pass holding 187 through the air. Ramsey doesn’t have a INT this season but Sunday he will. Hopkins is 3rd in the league with yards at 657 and 3 TD. He will still have 3 TD’s come Monday.
SLEEPER- CLE WR Jarvis Landry; Mayfield and Browns are looking “OK”. Landry only had 2 catch on 9 targets for 11 yards. That will change come Sunday with a SORRY pass defense allowing a whooping 355 yards. Landry will shine as a great WR2 option gonna grab at least 2 TD’s and 100+ yards.
START EM’- BAL DEF; As I mentioned earlier the Ravens D will stop the run game and I believe can “slow down” Brees and the Saints. The numbers are different then in game and the Saints are the Ravens first BIG challenge. Bree’s will throw a pick or two a couple sacks and the Ravens will benefit fantasy wise.
SIT EM’- MIA DEF; With Miami picking off rookie Trubisky once and got two sacks as well last week. Turn the repeat button off this Sunday because Stafford and the Lions will pass, run, jog, walk, make sandwiches in the pocket, anything they want. Stafford is coming off a bye and been red hot of late. The Dolphins will allow points and get nothing to benefit your Fantasy team.
SLEEPER- PHI DEF; The defending champs are currently 3-3 through 7 weeks. Isn’t such the greatest start but Sunday the Eagles will be above .500. With the Philly D only allowing 19 points, 79 on the ground and 273 through the air per game, the Eagles can cause turnovers against a Cam and the Panthers that are middle of the pack offense. Only question mark about starting the Eagles is the dangerous RB’s and playmaking skills of Newton. Risky….
Who to start? Isaiah Crowell or Nyheim Hines?
Do you trust CHI D against the Pats?
Is Brock Osweiler worth starting or a bust?
